NSEA Webinars and Professional Development

NSEA knows the learning never stops, and that now, more than ever, educators will need to be as proficient at distance learning as they are in the traditional classroom. To address this need, the following webinars and professional development opportunities are available:

  • Membership/Association Workshops
    These online sessions are applicable to members and officers of local associations with topics such as bargaining, politics, member benefits, student loan forgiveness, advocacy and membership.  These topics and other workshops can be requested for local presentations using the Professional Development Catalog below.
  • 2020-21 New Educator Online Learning Opportunities
    Professional learning to support the success of new educators in the classroom, instructional growth and retention in the profession. 
  • NSEA Mentoring & Instructional Coaching
    The NSEA is working to help passionate young educators stay in the profession and be successful through its Mentoring and Instructional Coaching initiative.
  • NSEA U: 2021
    The NSEA members-only professional development conference will be held July 13-15, 2021. More details to come.
  • NSEA Professional Development Catalog
    Topics and presentations are available for local leaders to request for membership meetings.

  • 2019-20 NSEA/NNSTOY Webinar Series
    Access the recordings from the monthly topics that were presented during the 2019-2020 school year, as well as Google drives of additional resources per topic.

  • EdTech Webinar Series
    NSEA has partnered with the South Dakota Education Association, Michigan Education Association and National Education Association to present a winter series of EdTech Webinars focused on distance learning practices. Check back for more details.
