An overview of retirement challenges women face, the impact of taxes and inflation of their nest egg, tax advantaged solutions, and income options in addition to social security to help overcome a shortfall.

Health Insurance and EHA Wellness

Presenters from BlueCross BlueShield and EHA Wellness will provide an overview of 2020-2021 Health Insurance plan as well as EHA Wellness opportunities.

Amplify Your Passion!

This session is for members interested in nominating or applying for Nebraska Teacher of the Year. There will be a panel of Nebraska Teachers of the Year that will lead the discussion on what the award is, its importance and some general considerations for applying/nominating. 

Financial Essentials

Offered on Thurs. Oct. 22 & Thurs. March 18

Specifically designed to help education professionals plan for retirement by reviewing financial concepts that can impact members during each life-stage (Early, Mid, and Late Career), especially as they move closer to retirement. The Financial Essentials workshop can help members by discussing long term planning, retirement savings,  state pension options and help members gain confidence in taking control of their retirement plan.

Charting the Course Forward

Offered on Thurs. Aug 13 & Thurs. Jan. 14

Provides an explanation on recent federal changes under the CARES ACT (Reviews Stimulus Payments, Student Loan Relief, Etc.) and expert guidance on current market volatility and moving forward what investors should know. *This presentation is time sensitive due to the current events content.  

Contract Issues & Disputes

This session will cover letters of intent, end of the resignations, terminations, nonrenewals, RIFs, and release from contract.
